“Christi Craig thoughtfully crafts her classes. I’m sure that she spends hours finding the right stories and videos to connect her students to a theme or aspect of craft. I have been her student for many years and have never seen an overlap of materials. Everything is fresh and new. She is a writer, who shares valuable insight from her own path, and I am so happy our paths crossed. It is a joy to be part of her community.“
Kathy Collins, Writer published at Persimmon

“Whether it is her editing or her teaching, Christi Craig’s super-power is to put her finger on what is missing, the moment or anecdote or sensory detail that will enhance or complete your piece. In the early Hidden Timber anthology, Family Stories from the Attic, her simple question of what did the cafe look like resulted in much greater depth to my essay. Her imaginative teaching stimulates the creative process while being encouraging.”
Aleta Chossek, contributor in Family Stories from the Attic and author of Kristine, Finding Home

“[Christi’s] contributions ranged from detailed line editing, to suggestions regarding a major addition that provided much needed historical context. As a result, the story acquired greater depth and relevance.”
Myles Hopper, contributor in Family Stories from the Attic and author of My Father’s Shadow
