Her first book, The Seven Stages of Anger & Other Stories (Press 53) was finalist for the Colorado Book Award; her debut novel The Pull of It (Underground Voices), was named a top pick by Displaced Nation; her most recent novel If The Ice Had (Santa Fe Writers Project) is a Buzzfeed recommended read and a grand prize winner from Santa Fe Writers Project. She lives in Denver, Colorado.

In this workshop, we will discuss how using linked narratives can help deepen connection and engagement in fiction.
The idea of “linking” itself can be thematic, emotional, character driven, or a function of plot, and we will explore how these different elements of narrative fit together create stronger stories. Suitable for all levels.
