The Friday Framework
We’ve been running our Small Press Author Reading Series since April, finding that these online events are a wonderful way to introduce you to a variety of voices and to create connection and community between authors and readers. Now, we are branching out, partnering with Poet and Teacher F. Douglas Brown to bring you a new reading series: THE FRIDAY FRAMEWORK.
THE FRIDAY FRAMEWORKÂ connects three BIPOC poets whose work serves both as a springboard for greater understanding of the self while also providing an example of how one fearlessly counters the duress their work addresses or may have been created under.
Beginning in October, Hidden Timber Books will host F. Douglas Brown one Friday every other month, as he invites BIPOC poets for an online reading and discussion.
Our first in this series celebrates poets bridgette bianca, Nandi Comer, and Aricka Foreman.
